Dr. Jack Geiger, Creator of U.S. Community Health Center Model, Presents Grand Rounds on October 13th

His presentation, titled “America’s Community Health Centers: origins and future,” will enable learners to understand the creation of the discipline of community-oriented primary care in apartheid South Africa, to trace the political process by which this model of health care was created and developed in the United States, and to examine the spread of this model to 142 nations with widely varying systems of health care.
