Dr. Quick is originally from San Diego, CA, and obtained her bachelor’s degree at New York University, where she studied English Literature. Before attending medical school in Chicago, she worked in NYC and then traveled to Argentina and Guatemala for seven months, working in rural communities and improving her Spanish. After graduating from the Institute’s Mount Sinai Beth Israel Residency in Urban Family Medicine, she stayed on to train as our Integrative Medicine Fellow. A few of the factors that attracted her to the Mount Sinai Beth Israel program include the diverse population served, the location, and the warm, friendly faculty and residents dedicated to this institution. When not in the hospital, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, traveling, “restauranting,” and eating just about everything, but especially burritos.
