Dr. Schiskie began her work with the Institute during her third year of medical school, as her first clinical experience was a family medicine rotation at the Institute. After completing the rest of her training, which included a Chief Resident appointment, she returned to the Institute as a faculty member in 2005. She is currently an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM), and also serves as a member of the NYCOMEC Research Committee. She also works on a committee within the organization to improve the implementation of the electronic medical record for clinical providers.
Dr. Schiskie is married with two children. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Hudson Valley.
