Margaret Glausser, MD

Dr. Meg Glausser grew up in Greencastle, Indiana and graduated from Grinnell College with a BA in religious studies. She worked as a professional cook in Maine and Texas before getting a post-baccalaureate and heading to medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. During school, Meg did research in public health, studied in Zimbabwe, and was president of the UTSW chapter of Medical Students for Choice. She loves teaching, and led anatomy classes and peer mentor groups in medical school, as well as community bike mechanics workshops and cooking classes. Meg sees family medicine as the perfect interface for community health, evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care. She was drawn to Beth Israel by its excellent reproductive health training, integrative medicine, and diverse patient population. In her free time, Meg enjoys many outdoor activities both urban and wilderness, as well as cooking, reading fiction, and checking out art shows.
