Kathleen Cresswell is the chief information officer for practice operations at the Institute for Family Health, where she leads a team responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the Institute’s electronic health record and practice management systems. Joining the Institute as a consultant in 2001, Ms. Cresswell applied her programming skills in the outsourced billing department. In 2003, Ms. Cresswell became a full time employee playing an instrumental role opening internal billing offices for the Institute. In 2007, Ms. Cresswell became the director of business operations and applications. In this position, she provided programming and analytical support making the electronic health record and practice management systems a success. Ms. Cresswell was promoted to chief information officer in October 2011.
Ms. Cresswell graduated from Siena College with a BS degree in computer science, and is certified in Epic’s resolute and claims modules.
