Christine Chang, MD
Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University
Dr. Christine Chang grew up in Fort Lee, the Koreatown of NJ. She then went to Dartmouth College in beautiful New Hampshire where she studied Studio Art and Psychology. Her experiences there – particularly teaching children in rural Vermont and raising awareness of child trafficking in northern Thailand – taught her how prevalent disparities, especially health disparities, were around the world. Dartmouth was also where she realized that she was a city girl at heart and returned to attend medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and the Institute for Family Health’s Harlem Residency in Family Medicine. She is so grateful for the opportunity to be here and to work with such wonderful colleagues and patients! She is excited to serve the community and further bridge the gaps in care people receive in the Harlem community.
