Dr. Bryant Williams is a psychologist and is a faculty member in the Mount Sinai Downtown Residency in Urban Family Medicine. Dr. Williams received his doctorate from Columbia University and completed his clinical training at Columbia University Medical Center. His research focused on factors that lead to clinical bias. Prior to moving to New York, Dr. Williams lived in Boulder, Colorado where he studied Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy at Naropa University. He trains medical residents and students on the role psychosocial factors play in health and illness. His clinical interests include stress and anxiety reduction, sexual dysfunction, medically unexplained symptoms, life transitions, promoting health behaviors and integrative medicine. In addition to teaching, Dr. Williams maintains an active clinical practice in New York City.
