Amy Seplin, NP

Nurse Practitioner Fellow

Graduate - Columbia University
Undergraduate - Wesleyan University

Amy Seplin came to nursing after a 20-plus year career as a documentary film editor. A native New Yorker, she attended Columbia University’s School of Nursing, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner with sub-specialties in Women’s Health and Palliative Care. As an RN, she worked in the Emergency Department holding section at Lenox Hill Hospital, and as an RN Care Coordinator with the Institute’s Harlem care management team. She is a proud graduate of Hunter College High School, Wesleyan University (BA with a major in English), and Columbia University’s Film Division (MFA). In her free time, she likes to volunteer for progressive causes and still loves a good movie.
