The Institute’s Jacqueline Chiofalo, director of policy research and analysis, recently published research on childhood lead levels among children seen at the Institute’s NYC health centers. On average, children living in public housing had lower blood lead levels, and 92% lower odds of having elevated blood lead levels, than children in private housing in NYC. Read more.
