The Institute’s Director Jacqueline Chiofalo featured in for blood lead level findings in NYC children

The Institute’s Jacqueline Chiofalo, director of policy research and analysis, recently published research on childhood lead levels among children seen at the Institute’s NYC health centers. On average, children living in public housing had lower blood lead levels, and 92% lower odds of having elevated blood lead levels, than children in private housing in NYC. Read more.

Bronx Health REACH Healthy Bodega Marketing Campaign Featured on News12

Bronx Health REACH and partners’ “Healthy Bodega Initiative” recently launched a marketing campaign that hopes to introduce Bronx residents to the 36 bodegas that offer healthier food options. The campaign features printed posters and social media messages about these “Fresh Bronx Bodegas.”

The Institute’s Recent Call Center Funding from the State Reported in the Poughkeepsie Journal
