Dr. Sarah Hipkens originally hails from New York City. She has strong interests in diabetes care, women’s health, preventive care and prenatal care. She recently completed a research study on the benefits of group education for diabetes management. She chooses to work with the Institute because she believes that everyone deserves excellent care.
Dr. Gabrielle Surick grew up in northern New Jersey. She graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis, with a major in the Interdisciplinary Project in the Humanities, and wrote her honors thesis on narrative medicine.
