Join the Bronx Health REACH Health Disparities Workgroup for a #NOT62 RALLY – TUES DEC 3 AT 12PM
As we all work to improve the health of Bronx residents to make sure that sooner rather than later the Bronx will no longer be ranked 62 out of the 62 New York State counties in terms of the health of its residents and the factors that contribute to their poor health, our elected leaders must prioritize the Bronx.
It is for this reason that Bronx Health REACH ‘s Health Disparity Workgroup is holding a rally.
When: Tuesday, December 3, 2019
Time: 12:00 p.m.
Where: Steps of New York City Hall, Broadway and Centre St., NYC
When the health ranking of the boroughs of NYC is…
NYC/Manhattan – 5
Queens – 8
Brooklyn (Kings County) – 17
Staten Island (Richmond County) – 28
Bronx – 62
Our ask is that the Mayor, the Bronx Borough President, City Council members and New York State elected officials make the health of the Bronx a top priority at all levels and in all sectors of government, be it health, housing, economic opportunities, education, transportation, etc.
Provide the resources to improve the health of Bronx residents!
