Dr. Lisa Shapiro was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology, Health, and Society from Cornell University’s College of Human Ecology. She completed her osteopathic medical degree as well as a master’s degree in Neuromusculoskeletal Sciences at the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. She was also selected to participate in her medical school’s Academic Medicine Scholarship program which combined research, courses in medical education, and teaching assistantships in both human anatomy and osteopathic medicine laboratory sessions. She has always been very dedicated to incorporating the holistic values of osteopathic medicine as well as osteopathic manipulative treatment into the care of her patients. Her clinical interest within family medicine is women’s health.
Dr. Seiffert’s professional interests include global health and preventive medicine, with a particular interest in access to care in both developing nations and rural areas in the United States. His personal interests include hiking, camping, and cycling as well as spending time with his family.
