Institute staff collaborate with NY Senator Michelle Hinchey for personal care supply drive

April 29, 2026

On April 10, 2026, Institute staff were pleased to welcome New York State Senator Michelle Hinchey’s staff as they delivered personal care supplies for community members in need.

For the past several weeks, Senator Hinchey and her staff have collected donations of new personal care products –including diapers, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, soaps, dental care products and socks – at various locations in Ulster County. These products will be available to anyone who needs them at four Institute sites: Pine Street Family Health Center, Kingston Family Health Center, Ellenville Family Health Center, and New Paltz Family Health Center.

We are grateful to Senator Hinchey and her staff for organizing the donation drive, and to all the generous community members who donated. If you can use these supplies, please stop by one of the four health centers and ask!
