New York Times Features Institute’s Harlem Residency in Family Medicine

March 26, 2015 – The New York Times today published “Amid Affordable Care Act Fight, a Health Center Program Struggles to Stay Alive,” featuring president & CEO Dr. Neil Calman, as well as Drs. Savita Gopal and Venis Wilder of the Institute’s Harlem Residency in Family Medicine. The piece describes the successful federal Teaching Health Centers program, which funds graduate medical education in high-need communities.  Teaching Health Centers funding is set to expire soon unless it is reauthorized by Congress.
