Dr. Marc Levin is the coordinator of obstetrics and maternity care and has been delivering babies at Mount Sinai Beth Israel with Institute residents since 2001. He brought the Centering (“group prenatal”) model to Mount Sinai Beth Israel which has become the standard for prenatal care for Institute patients that are pregnant and prenatal training for residents at the Institute. Dr. Levin also directs the intern community medicine rotations and attends on the inpatient family medicine service. He has completed three missions with Doctors Without Borders in Africa with a focu on providing health access in areas of conflict and advises on global health training. Dr. Levin’s interests include improving health care delivery for marginalized and displaced populations, underserved health, cross-cultural medicine and obstetrics.
