Hannah Biederman, MD
Dr. Hannah Biederman is originally from Long Island, NY and attended college in North Carolina at Duke University where she studied Biological Anthropology. She was fortunate enough to do her thesis project there working with lemurs and studying things like olfactory cuing and mate selection. After graduating, she found herself travelling to Israel where she conducted fertility research at a hospital outside of beautiful Tel Aviv. She loved living abroad, considered staying, but ultimately came back to NY to attend medical school at Stony Brook. Dr. Biederman fell in love with family medicine because of the tremendous emphasis on preventive care, holistic medicine, and the notion of creating strong ties to patients that will last for many years. She was so drawn to Beth Israel because of its strength in Integrative Medicine and Reproductive Health in addition to the incredibly interesting, passionate, and hard-working residents she met here. She is incredibly excited to be at Beth Israel and in New York for this journey!
Dr. Biederman’s hobbies outside of work include yoga, drawing, and adventures in vegetarian cooking.
