Alan Woghin, CPA, MS

Vice President, Finance / Chief Financial Officer

Alan Woghin joined the Institute in 2011, bringing with him over twenty years experience in health care finances and accounting. As chief financial officer, he oversees all financial operations of the organization, including budgets, financial projections and analyses, preparation of financial statements, and audit and tax filings.

Mr. Woghin previously served as a Partner in the Healthcare Services Group in the New York office of McGladrey & Pullen where he focused on the accounting, finance and tax needs of healthcare organizations, including monitoring healthcare and tax legislation.

Mr. Woghin has led seminars for the National Association of Community Health Centers and State Primary Care Associations on issues for tax-exempt organizations, health care finance and reporting requirements for community health centers and corporate compliance. He holds an M.S. in taxation from C.W. Post College and a B.A. in accounting and business finance from Muhlenberg College, and is licensed as a CPA in New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Maryland and California.
