The Institute’s PurpLE Clinic Receives National Attention

Institute residency alum and PurpLE Clinic Director Anita Ravi, MD, MPH, MSHP has recently become selected to hold positions of leadership in two national health organizations. She will serve as the AAFP delegate to the AMA Young Physicians Section for the next two years.
“I am excited to amplify the voices of our patients and our specialty through this opportunity over the next two years!,” said Dr. Ravi about her new appointment.
Dr. Ravi was also selected as the co-chair HEAL‘s direct services committee. HEAL is a national network of physicians, healthcare providers and researchers who focus on health and human trafficking.
“We will be spearheading new initiatives and connecting over 200 direct service providers of human trafficking across the country. It’s wonderful for our PurpLE Clinic to collaborate with partners across the country to improve healthcare delivery for this population,” stated Dr. Ravi.
