Home Visiting Services for Families

If you are expecting a baby or have an infant under 3 months old, and you live in Dutchess County or Ulster County, we can help. Our free and voluntary home visiting services can provide support, information, knowledge and resources to help families give their children a great beginning and foster healthy family relationships. We can help with:

  • Having a healthy pregnancy
  • Planning and preparation for labor and delivery
  • Newborn and infant care
  • How children grow and learn
  • How to play with your baby to encourage learning
  • Breastfeeding information and support
  • Identifying and working to meet family goals
  • Fatherhood support

Family Support Specialists

Our Family Support Specialists help women access prenatal care and can also help your family with meeting basic needs such as:

  • Applying for housing
  • Getting a job
  • Going back to school
  • Finances and budgeting
  • Relationships
  • Linkage to mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and domestic violence services
  • Health and safety
