(English) Her presentation, titled “Approach to Cardiovascular Disease Management for the High Risk Population,” will provide learners with an understanding and overview of cardiovascular disease topics relevant to an urban community with high CV morbidity and mortality, knowledge of new technology and advances in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease, and bring awareness of new approaches for cardiovascular care including Precision Medicine, access and cardio metabolic contributors.
(English) His presentation, titled “America’s Community Health Centers: origins and future,” will enable learners to understand the creation of the discipline of community-oriented primary care in apartheid South Africa, to trace the political process by which this model of health care was created and developed in the United States, and to examine the spread of this model to 142 nations with widely varying systems of health care.
